Plan trips from ChatGPT or Claude

Link your AI assistant to VoyaOne. Plan a trip in the chat and it lands in your account — and when a confirmation email arrives, paste it in and let the assistant file the booking for you.

Your server address

The one thing you need to paste. It's the same for everyone.

https://app.voyaone.ai/api/mcp
There is no API key and no password to paste. You sign in through a normal VoyaOne login page and approve what the app may do. If something asks you for a VoyaOne API key, it isn't us.

Step by step

Pick the app you use.

  1. 1

    Open ChatGPT settings

On the web at chatgpt.com, click your name in the bottom-left corner, then Settings.

  2. 2

    Go to Connectors

In the left column of Settings, choose Connectors. If it isn't there, connectors aren't enabled on your ChatGPT plan yet — they need a paid plan.

  3. 3

    Add a custom connector

Click Create (some versions call it Add custom connector).

  4. 4

    Paste the VoyaOne address

Name it VoyaOne and paste this as the MCP server URL:

    https://app.voyaone.ai/api/mcp

Leave authentication set to OAuth. Don't look for an API key — there isn't one.

  5. 5

    Sign in and approve

ChatGPT opens a VoyaOne window. Sign in with your normal email and password, read the list of permissions, and press Connect. You land back in ChatGPT automatically.

  6. 6

    Use it

Start a new chat, turn the VoyaOne connector on for that chat, then try:

“What's on my Kyoto trip?” · “Here's my flight confirmation — add it to my Rome trip.”

What it can do once connected

Look things up

  • List your trips and open any one of them
  • Read the full itinerary — flights, hotels, cars, activities, times, confirmation numbers
  • Read your checklist, notes and expenses

Add and change

  • Create a new trip
  • Add bookings it read from your confirmation email or PDF
  • Retime a flight, fix a hotel name, remove something you cancelled
  • Add packing and to-do items

Talk to your travel companions

  • Read the trip group chat
  • Post a message to it — sent as you, so it asks first
A tip that saves time: if you already pasted the confirmation email into the chat, the assistant reads it and files the booking directly — no waiting. Ask it to add this booking rather than upload this document.

What it can never do

These limits are enforced by VoyaOne, not by the AI app.

  • See anything you can’t see yourself — a trip shared with you view-only stays view-only
  • Read your documents vault, your 1:1 messages, or any payment details
  • Change a trip someone else owns, or invite people to a trip
  • Keep working after you disconnect it from your account

See what's connected

Every app linked to your account, what it's allowed to do, and a one-click disconnect.

If something goes wrong

“Connection failed” right after pasting the URL
Check the address has no trailing slash and ends in /api/mcp. Use the Copy button rather than retyping it.
The sign-in window opens but nothing happens after I log in
Allow pop-ups for the AI app, and don't use a private/incognito window for that step — the approval needs the sign-in it just created.
It says my access expired
Reconnect from the app's connector settings. If it keeps happening, disconnect it in Account and add it again — that clears the old grant completely.
It can see my trip but says it can’t change it
That trip is shared with you view-only, or someone else owns it. Only the owner can change the trip itself — ask them for edit access.
It won’t answer questions with AI
AI follows your account setting. Turn it on in Account → AI.
